Nicknamed the Sistine Chapel of prehistory, Lascaux is a Unesco World Heritage site and a must-see when exploring the Dordogne.
The Lascaux Cave is one of the most important Paleolithic art sites. Although it is currently closed to the public to preserve the paintings, you will visit Lascaux IV, the “complete” replica of the Lascaux Cave. There, you will find all of the works reproduced exactly as they are in the original cave.
