Visit the Cistercian abbey of Cadouin founded in 1115 by Gerard de Salles. Located between the Dordogne and the Couze rivers, in the south of the Périgord, the buildings today open to visitors present two distinct architectures: the Romanesque in the church and the flamboyant Gothic in the cloister rebuilt in the 15th century.
